Help: Assign a quiz to your students

One of the questions teachers often ask is, How do I assign a quiz to my students?

Lizard Point Quizzes doesn't have a way to assign a quiz in the sense of giving it a start date, an end date, any time limit at all, or a limit on the number of attempts. A more accurate question is: How do I let my students know what I want them to do?

Whether you've got a Teacher Plus account, a Teacher Basic account, or no account at all, you always have the option of communicating with your students via Google classroom, email, your own website or however it is you share instructions and links with your students.

If you've got a Teacher Plus account....

You can use the Lizard Point Quizzes Blackboard to share groupings of quiz links and instructions with your classes. Your students will find a link to My Class Blackboard in their My Account menu. The class blackboard is also publicly viewable without signing in, so you can also share a public link to your class blackboards with students or their parents.

What about start dates and end dates?
You can quickly share a blackboard module with one or more classes (or revoke it) with the click of a checkbox. Use the freeform text areas in the blackboard module to give instructions or dates.
Any quiz can be done at any time by anyone, as long as they know the link... so check the timestamp of the completed quiz's results on the Students Scores Details page to determine if your student completed the quiz on time. You can filter the detailed results by class, quiz and date range.
