The Middle East is a transcontinental region centered on Western Asia, Turkey (both Asian and European), and Egypt (which is mostly in North Africa). There is not a standard definition of what constitutes the Middle East. Some definitions may include (or exclude): Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the 5 stans (Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan). Some defintions include a few more north African countries. Click on an area on the map to answer the questions.
